LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Tandara is a beautiful retreat in the Grampians, a short walk from the Halls Gap township. It is situated in a relaxing and peaceful environment where kangaroos, emus, deer, an occasional koala, kookaburras and a vast array of bird life and native flora abound. The camp is also the perfect base for adventure activities, including easy access to superb bush walks. Take a look at our Location Map – and you’ll see we’re the centre of everything!
FABULOUS FACILITIES
Tandara Lutheran Camp offers fully catered accommodation for schools, family groups, church and community groups, staff retreats and special-interest groups. It is also a conference centre, with a large hall with full AV facilities, seating 250 people. Supervision of campers is easy, as most of the open grassed areas are in plain sight of the hall.
Our facilities include four new reverse-cycle air-conditioners, along with an evaporative cooling system in our hall. Our hall has new carpet throughout. We have also renovated all the cabins (new carpets) and installed reverse-cycle air-conditioning. All cabins have their own ensuite.
Other facilities include:
- reverse-cycle air-conditioning accommodation, sleeping up to 100
- all dorms with own ensuite; separate toilet and shower facilities
- day toilets and full disabled bathroom with laundry facilities
- large hall (seating capacity 250; dining capacity 120) with combustion wood heater and evaporative cooling and four new split-systems
- full AV facilities
- large under-cover patio area with gas BBQ and fireplace
- outdoor chapel area
- fully air-conditioned lounge/meeting room
- under-cover verandas and walkways between cabins, hall and grassed areas.
